The ledger is the balance
What you hold is the sum of ledger entries. A deposit, a card funding, a fee, or a correction is a new entry. Past entries stay as they were written.
Security
Truefer treats the ledger as the source of truth. The card provider and the blockchains are connections around that record, not a replacement for it.

If the card provider is unavailable, your internal balance stays in the ledger. An outage does not erase it or rewrite it. Cards already issued stay with that provider.
The product is designed so the full card number and security code are not stored in Truefer. Viewing sensitive card details asks you to confirm it is you.
Creating a card, funding it, and submitting a withdrawal carry an idempotency key, so a repeated request does not create a second movement.
A few boundaries are part of the product. They stay visible so the rest of the site does not have to soften them.
A virtual card follows its card program. Truefer does not guarantee that a merchant will approve a charge.
A balance update waits for the confirmation policy of that asset on that network, after the recipient, token, and amount have been checked.
No KYC to open an account. Email and a password. Truefer is still an account, not an anonymity product.
Crypto withdrawals are available only where they are enabled. The destination, amount, and fee are shown before you submit.
Truefer is an account with an email login. It is not built for anonymity.
